Solvere Large Solid Black No Text

Powered By Intepo USA

Solvere supports the network infrastructures of edge IoT solutions, which are critical and whose continuity is important, with uninterrupted energy and brings flexibility and strength to the IoT 4.0 network infrastructure.

Solvere network products ensure that the end products connected to it at the end point work perfectly operationally.

Does your current external network ‘solution’ consist of large static metal cabinets full of multiple delicate components from different manufacturers and is backed up by a temperamental legacy alkaline UPS systems that go offline before rebooting in a power outage?
If you’re interested in the next generation in network solutions that are designed to power the IoT and provide resilience on ‘the Edge’ using equipment that is now the size of a letterhead and can be mounted on any pole within 15-minutes to provide a secure 5G network for over 24 hours -without any cables being run to it – you’re on the right page.

In partnership with Intepo/BTU Research USA the future of Edge networking is now.  Instantly deployable network resilience using ruggedised IP68 rated network switches fully accredited for domestic and international Cyber assurance as used on many international high-profile projects.  This is the solution you’ve been waiting for.

Summary of Characteristics

Physical – Outdoor, sealed, rugged, passively cooled devices in powder coated die cast aluminium enclosures with an operating ambient temperature range of -35-degrees to -70 degrees.  Submersible to 1.5m, rated IP-68.  Power options are currently Universal AC, DC 20-60V, Railway Power (43-160VDC) and Solar/Wind (Built-in MPPT, direct hookup to panel array or turbine).  Physical footprint is about the size of letter head paper.

Services – Incorporates a fully managed layer-3 Switch and can power up to 8 PoE ports with built-in data centre quality UPS back-up with redundant wired and wireless communications.  Each port can power up to 90W, IEEE 802.3by Class-8 load, while also supporting all prior standards back to 802.3af and non-IEEE standards such as UPOE (Cisco), pre-802.3bt 4-wire 60W “H-PoE” and some LTPOE versions.   The current maximum PoE power output is 150W and a 240W version is in the process of UL certification.  On-board emergency Li-Ion storage capacity up to 1400WH.

BMS: The built in BMS monitors internal temperature in multiple locations, and limits charging and discharging as appropriate to prolong battery life while maintaining functionality.  The operating system is Linux.  We have a web-based user interface for configuration and monitoring, and a comprehensive and secure CLI. We have configurable data logging to flash, and network reporting. Graceful adjustment to degradation to extend continuity of operations.  We are developing a warning system for impending battery pack failure.  All our software is developed in-house.

Data: For data only and/or LAN/WAN connectivity there are either 1 or 2 SFP ports for copper/fiber/coax etc depending on the module installed.  The software is as agnostic as it can be in terms of module manufacturers, to provide maximum flexibility in SFP module selection.  The unit has optional wi-fi capability, and 5G cellular/GPS connectivity using M.2 modules.

INTEPO reduces SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power, and Cost) and increases uptime by combining all components into a single device.

Because of their resilience, INTEPO products are used to monitor water levies in Jefferson Parish USA during Hurricanes.

INTEPO SolidSwitch is replacing cabinets of equipment in the largest Florida Water plant in Miami Dade.

INTEPO devices are on 22 buildings in Washington DC including the Whitehouse and will be deployed on 80 buildings in NYC beginning 2023

For the Smart City and Internet of Things future, Intepo provide what they call PCPS Infrastructure:

Power:  Integrated data center UPS for the network capable of charging    from intermittent AC power, DC, solar and wind

Comms: Assured multi-modal communications to maintain continuity of data

Processing: Local data-center capabilities for containerized processing that bring the cloud closer to you.

Security: Hardened cyber-physical security and advanced AI threat/intrusion detection, isolation and mitigation capabilities

With INTEPO PCPS as part of the network; solutions providers and systems integrators no longer must sacrifice modularity, security, capabilities, or budget due to IoT Infrastructure. INTEPO PCPS adds 9’s (out of 10) to every Installation.

Resilient, robust and capable IoT infrastructure, solves all current issues with Edge networking, provides a network that never goes down for a fraction of the cost of existing deployments and can provide a new network in a remote location in record time or supplement an existing installation.
